Sara Salama
President
Sara is the Co-Founder and President of Coptic Voice as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Sara obtained her Masters of Law from Duke University School of Law, with a focus on international human rights law, and holds additional law degrees from France and the United Kingdom. As an international lawyer, she holds diverse experience across the for-profit and non-profit sectors. She currently heads the legal department of Coptic Orphans, where she advises on corporate governance, human rights law, and other compliance matters.
Marianne Meleka Boules
Executive Director
Marianne is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Coptic Voice. She received her Bachelor's and Master's from the University of California Riverside in Public Policy. Based in Orange County California, Marianne works as a nonprofit development specialist. As Executive Director, Marianne ensures that Coptic Voice is on the path to achieving its mission by supervising all administrative and executive procedures. When not working on Coptic Voice, Marianne can be found reading a 1,000-page fantasy novel or riding her bike on the beach.
Tony Boules
Chief Operations Officer
Tony is the Chief Operations Officer of Coptic Voice. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of California, Riverside. Married to Marianne Boules, Tony works as a high school English teacher. As COO, he helps manage the Board of Directors and Coptic Voice's advertisers.
Angelina Girgis
Editor-in-Chief
Angelina is the Editor-in-Chief of Coptic Voice. She received her Bachelor's from the University of Southern California in Human Biology with minors in Spanish and Middle East Studies and is pursuing a Master’s in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine. She is involved in organizations at USC whose mission is to uplift the voices of first-generation and minority students. As Editor-in-Chief, she oversees Coptic Voice's publications and website content. In her free time, Angelina enjoys drawing, singing, and writing poetry.

Peter Aziz
Vice President
Peter is the Vice President of Coptic Voice's Board of Directors. He is currently pursuing his Master's in Public Administration and Public Policy. Peter is also an NNAAC Fellow with the Arab American Civic Council. His interests include community, culture, and all things coffee-related, and also loves listening to Byzantine chants.
Jonathan Adly
Treasure, Podcast Director
Jonathan is the Treasurer of Coptic Voice's Board of Directors. He is also the organization's Podcast Director and is the founder of the podcast "History of the Copts." As Podcast Director, he writes, manages, and produces content. Jonathan is a Clinical Pharmacist by trade, having finished his post-doctorate residency training in 2014 in Delaware. He is currently pursuing his MBA with a concentration in marketing. He is a proud Coptic father and husband with a passion for reading and advocacy. Jonathan has always maintained extensive involvement with his local Coptic Church with a special passion for working with youth and exploring the unmet needs of Christian service.
Jennifer Ghobreyal
Secretary
Jennifer is the Secretary of Coptic Voice's Board of Directors. She is a licensed marriage therapist and family therapist. Jennifer is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and works to dismantle the stigma against mental health disorders, especially within the Coptic community. She is also keenly interested in the interplay of culture and faith/religion. In her free time, she loves to read and cook, and spend time with her husband, family, and friends.
Andrew Botros
Board Member
Andrew is a member of Coptic Voice's Board of Directors. He obtained his Masters of Science in Family & Human Development from Arizona State University. With more than 8 years of experience in international development, he has counseled and coached many people in an effort to empower them and help them live a life of self-sufficiency and meaning. Andrew is passionate about furthering positive change in the lives of under-resourced communities, especially the homeless population. He enjoys leading mission trips to different countries in Africa.
