Who We Are

Established in 2017, Coptic Voice is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental 501(c)3 organization dedicated to building a global Coptic identity through community dialogue, education and political empowerment. Starting with the Copts in the west, Coptic Voice seeks to provide a platform in which to build this identity through editorial efforts such as an online publication, several podcasts, and a book press. Coptic Voice also believes in the empowerment of others and thus includes a robust Advocacy division. Coptic Voice Advocacy seeks to support minority and indigenous people as they strive to access and maintain their rights, including that of the freedom of religion or belief.

UPLIFTING THE COMMUNITY

What We Do

MEDIA

ADVOCACY

EMPOWERMENT

We work to cultivate a space where fellow Copts can forge their collective identity by engaging in meaningful conversations about what it means to be, to live, and to exist as a Coptic Egyptian in America.

We strive to ensure that the Coptic diaspora becomes a force to be reckoned with as they advocate for their own community while amplifying the voices of the countless vulnerable communities around the world.

Our Mission

Coptic Voice aims to forge a global Coptic identity through editorial platforms such as an online publication, podcasts, and a book press, while empowering minorities abroad starting with the Copts in Egypt through grass-root activation of Diaspora communities.

Our Vision

Coptic Voice envisions a world where our communities use their political agency, defined culture and awareness to empower themselves and others. We believe in the freedom to choose one’s world view and belief system is at the core of humanity, and that the power of the internet and sharing information should be used to achieve and protect such freedoms and rights.
